About Our Center for Miracles

The effects of child abuse can be devastating and life-long. Our hope at the Center for Miracles is to gain a better understanding of the child abuse epidemic in our community so we can preserve and protect the lives of our children.

In 2006, more than 43,000 children were involved in child abuse or neglect investigations throughout the San Antonio Region. That same year, 14 children in Bexar County died from abuse or neglect.

At the Center for Miracles, we are committed to helping children and their families. We provide medical, psychosocial and counseling evaluations, as well as diagnosis and treatment for children referred to our center. Families that come to the Center for Miracles will also receive assessment and referral services. Our team of pediatricians, nurses, social workers and counselors is dedicated to providing competent and compassionate care that ensures an accurate assessment of the child's health and safety.
